How Does It Work?

We all have seven major energy centers in our body regulating our energy at all times. These energy centers or Chakras are located along our spine from the top of our head to the base of our tailbone, and the vitality of these Chakras determines the health of the systems and organs they regulate. When our energy gets knocked off balance or if there is an energetic block in our body, that particular Chakra has a harder time circulating energy in that area. Then over time you might start to feel the effects of that block mentally, emotionally and/or physically creating discomfort in the body.

The regular notes in a musical scale have more of a healing effect for our Chakras than a lot of us are aware of. The frequency of each note corresponds to the healthy vibrational frequency that each of our Chakras needs to be in, in order to regulate our energy properly. Playing these instruments in a Sound Bath supports our energy centers and also helps move through any imbalances and blocks we might have so the body can start to heal itself. On top of the notes, the instruments I use are tuned to a specific hertz frequency that has its own energetic benefits. The instruments I play are tuned to a couple of very nurturing frequencies; 432hz which is tuned to the frequency of nature and 528hz which is the frequency of unconditional love and DNA repair. One more benefit of a Sound Bath is how the frequencies of the instruments can entrain our minds into a delta or theta brainwave state and put us into a restorative sleep, quieting the mind and allowing the body to relax, reducing stress. It’s truly amazing to find something that is non evasive and feels gentle in the body as it assists you in your own healing.

What To Expect In My 1:1 Sound Healing Session:

I offer my one on one Sound Healing sessions in-person and through Zoom. The sessions are attuned to your specific needs and helps you on a more personal level. If you are joining virtually, you would need to find a quiet, undisturbed space where you can fully lie back and relax. Whether it’s virtual or in-person, I will start the session with an initial assessment to find out why you are seeking Sound Healing at this time and then I will guide you to lie down. I will start you with a guided meditation that helps your mind go into a state of reflection so you can see what needs to be learned from your own energy throughout the hour. For the rest of the session I will be playing select instruments in various ways that will help clear and balance the areas of your energy that need some support. The therapeutic sounds from the instruments will hold you in a nurturing and safe space throughout the whole process, and at the every end I will give you a moment to reflect and talk about your experiences plus hear any feedback that is needed.
